Samsung rolling out the July 2022 security patch update for the Galaxy S21 carrier-unlocked models in the US. This update was earlier released for the same model in European markets. Users can identify the latest update via the One UIbuild version mentioned below.

The latest July 2022 update comes with some minor improvements for system security and stability in order to main the users’ experience. At the same time, it fixes over 20 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities and exploits that include 3 critical and 20 high levels of CVEs.

Aside from these, there’s nothing that the official changelog mentions, however, you may notice other minor optimizations after installing it on your phone. It is worth mentioning that the update is released only for the carrier-unlocked unit of the Galaxy S21 series in the US, but as usual, the company will not take much time to spread it to carrier-locked models.

To download this fresh software update manually on your Galaxy phone, visit Settings. From here, enter the Software update section followed by Download and install. Now follow the on-screen prompts to get access to the latest changes.
