Samsung rolling out May 2022 security update for Galaxy S20 LTE users

Samsung releasing May 2022 security patch update  for Galaxy S20 LTE smartphone owners in various countries. This update will enhance the system security and further enhance the user expirience.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 LTE May 2022 update comes with One UI version G980FXXUEFVDB and the Galaxy S20+ LTE users can identify it through the firmware version G985FXXUEFVDB.

The latest update also improves the security and stability of your device alongside protecting it from bugs and viruses. You might also notice some minor changes and improvements after installing the update on your respective Galaxy S20 LTE.

The  May 2022 update vulnerabilities include 7 Critical, 23 High, and 3 Moderate levels of CVEs from Samsung and Google, which are related to Setup Wizard, Weather app, Galaxy Themes, and others.

Notably, the update is currently rolling out in Greece, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Portugal, Austria, Nordic countries, Baltic countries, Luxembourg, Slovakia, and the Netherlands. And, other countries’ users will soon get access to it.

  • Press Software update
  • Click Download and install
