Samsung One UI 5.0: New Connected Devices option

Samsung running its One UI 5 beta program for Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 devices in some countries including the US, UK, Germany, India, and Poland. This beta update brings lots of features, functions, and customization options for users.

The Galaxy S22 users residing in the US have also received a second beta update of One UI 5, which brings fixes for numerous bugs and issues and obtains some new features. One of the major change is been noticed in the settings section of Galaxy S22.

Android 13-based One UI 5 beta brings a new option in the settings section of the device that is testing One UI 5 beta program. The new option is defined as Connected Devices, and it was earlier not there in the smartphones running One UI 4.1 based on Android 12.

Users who are testing the One UI 5 beta program will be able to detect this Connected Devices option just below the Connection in the settings. Notably, this new option doesn’t bring anything special or a new feature, it includes some of the menus which were taken from the Advanced feature, and Apps section.

Yes, you read it right, this new option didn’t include anything special, the options which are added in this menu belong to the connectivity of your device. We can say that company introduces this option to provide users with easy access to all related prospects.

The options which you will see under the Connected Device menu include Quick Share, Auto Switch Buds, Call & text on other devices, Continue apps on other devices, Link to Windows, Samsung Dex, Smart View, Smart Things, and an Android Auto.
