Swipe for Split Screen:

This feature will help you to open a split-screen view directly from two-finger gestures. All you need to do is to swipe up with 2 fingers from the bottom of the screen to change the view to split-screen. Next, you can swipe again to change the used apps in the split-screen view.

Swipe for pop-up view:

Once enabled, the swipe to pop up view gesture will allow you to change the screen to popup view. All you need to do is to open an app and swipe inwards from the top corner towards the center of the display (diagonal). This would convert your current app view to a smart popup view.

Modifications:

These two upcoming One UI 5.0 gestures seem very promising and could be very useful for multitasking. The use cases applied to the gestures make the split-screen view better as you can enable it fast. While on the other hand, the pop-up view will get better with ease of access.

Notably, the active changes mentioned above are found in Samsung’s internal One UI 5.0 beta test build. Furthermore, the stable version may bring some changes but it’s currently not confirmed.
