Samsung Galaxy Watch5 period tracking feature rolls out in 32 countries

Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro starts getting a new firmware update, which installs the period tracking feature. The update integrates skin temperature measurement function into Galaxy Watch’s existing calendar-based Cycle Tracking feature.

Samsung has started the period tracking feature rollout to the Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro via Health app update. Once updated, Galaxy Watch5 series smartwatch users can get deeper insights to manage their menstrual cycles and overall health.

The company revealed that the Galaxy Watch5’s Cycle Tracking feature is powered by Natural Cycles. It enables users to track skin temperature changes, and a good estimate of basal body temperature, during sleep right from their wrist.
