Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 will get One UI Watch Bet update soon

According to new information, Samsung has recently announced a beta update program for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for the first time. Both the wearables will get One UI Watch Beta Update on June 2, 2022, in South Korea.

Notably, the beta update will only be accessible to the standard versions of the Galaxy Watch 4 series, which means if you own any special edition smartwatch, you will not be able to participate in this beta program.

Samsung hasn’t revealed what new features or changes will the One UI Watch Beta Update bring. Now Samsung is releasing the beta update for the first time for its wearable, it looks like the update will introduce some major changes to the watches.

How to participate:

Similar to a smartphone’s beta update, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 One UI Watch beta update will also be accepted through the Samsung Members app. Interested South Korean Galaxy Watch 4 users can the below-mentioned patch in order to apply to the beta program.

  • Open the Samsung Members app on the paired smartphone.
  • Click on the One UI Watch Beta program banner.
  • Enter an Email ID, it should be registered with your Samsung Account.
  • Accept consent and you are registered.

It is worth mentioning that as the smartphone beta program, the wearable beta update may also be unstable. Therefore, it is recommended to make a backup for your important data before participation and installation.

You will be able to download the One UI Watch Beta update on your Galaxy Watch 4 or Galaxy Watch 4 Classic on June 2, 2022. As mentioned, it’s only coming to the South Korean users on June 2. However, other countries’ users including China, Europe, India, and the US will also get in the coming days.
