Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 getting One UI Watch 4.5 update with Wear OS 3.5

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic smartwatches have started receiving the official One UI Watch 4.5 update on top of Google’s new Wear OS 3.5 wearable operating system. The update weighs in around 875MB and brings tons of new features and improvements, taking user experiences to the next level.

Recently, the South Korean tech giant announced the end of the One UI Watch 4.5 beta program and released a minor update for beta participants, switching the channel from beta to stable. Now, the feature-packed update has officially been rolled out to the public for the Galaxy Watch 4 series users.

The company announced the official Wear OS 3.5-based One UI Watch 4.5 version update for Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic consumers. The major update comes with six new colorful and interactive watch faces and a palette of fresh new colors and dynamic complications.

The One UI Watch 4.5 update further diversifies the variety of different layout options across Samsung’s wearable lineup so users can match their unique lifestyle with the right kind of display. The new favorite watch face list lets you save your creations and access them quickly and easily.

How to update

With the Samsung phone paired, open the Galaxy Wearable app and tap WATCH SETTINGS. After that, tap on Watch Software Update, if the Home tab appears on your watch, swipe up and tap on either Watch Software Update or Band Software Update. Finally, tap on Download and Install.
