Samsung Galaxy S23 at Verizon receives April 2023 camera update

Verizon starts releasing a new camera-focussed firmware update to Samsung Galaxy S23 series, which includes April 2023 security patch too. The latest firmware is currently available for select carrier-locked Galaxy S23 models in the United States.

Verizon network consumers can identify the update via build versions S911USQU1AWC8, S916USQU1AWC8, and S918USQU1AWC8 for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra, respectively.

Along with security improvements, the update improves camera features to provide a next-level photography experience. It improves the AF concept, Camera Assistant functions as well as adds a new option of prioritizing focus over motion.

For better image stabilization, the update fixes a bunch of issues related to green lines, banding noise, blurring, malfunction when Scene optimization is off, Super Steady function, third-party video calls, and more.

To initiate a manual install, you just need to navigate toward your Galaxy S23’s Settings. Once done, visit the Software update tab and hit Download and install button.
