Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with Snapdragon 720G to launch on June 30

At the starting of this year, Samsung announced the much-delayed Galaxy S21 FE 5G. The device equips some of the best features however, it gets overshadowed by the arrival of the Galaxy S22 series just a month after its launch.

Now recent reports claim that the company has plans to introduce a 4G variant of the device. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 4G will be the cheaper version of the original device. It will face the SoC downgrade and is said to launch on June 30.

Recently, the Galaxy S21 FE 4G has appeared on two European online shops ITRelation and Technet with model number SM-G990B2. The listing reveals that the phone will equip a Snapdragon 720G chipset instead of the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100.

Additionally, it will feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display, three cameras that include two 12MP shooters and an 8MP sensor at the rear, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 4,500mAh battery. The listings expose the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant.

Aside from these, the upcoming device with the same SM-G990B2 model number has also appeared on the Bluetooth certification recently. Not much, the database only confirms that the device will feature Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.

However, there is also a new report comes up that indicates that the company has dropped the plan to introduce a Fan Edition for this year’s Galaxy S-flagship series. SamMobile – a years-old blog didn’t find any evidence related to the model number SM-S900 that should be used for the Galaxy S22 FE
