Samsung Galaxy Note 20 August 2022 update in Europe

After the United States, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphone users have started collecting the latest software update that installs the August 2022 Android security patch update in Europe markets.

The changelog mentions a list of 10 Samsung apps that will be downloaded and upgraded automatically once you install the August patch update on your phone. Here is a list of advanced applications:

Apart from these, the official changelog doesn’t mention anything. However, Samsung recently revealed its August 2022 patch details which are Note fixes for dozens of privacy and security-related issues and exploits so that you can get the best functionality on your Galaxy phone.

According to the official support page, these vulnerabilities include 1 critical and 23 high-level CVE and 31 SVE items from Google and Samsung. And these are related to Samsung DeX, Bluetooth connectivity, Desktop system UI, Samsung dialer, WiFi service, and more.

Moving on, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra users in Europe are getting the August 2022 security update which can be identified with One UI making it the N981BXXU4FVGA and N986BXXU4FVGA versions respectively.

So if you live in Europe and are using one of the Note 20 models, be sure to download the new patch to your device. To do this, go to Settings and then to Software Update and Download and Install option. Once the update appears, tap the Download button and then install it.
