Two more Galaxy devices have joined the batch of December 2022 security patch update namely Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. The update brings improved security and stability for your device, also it optimizes the overall device performance.

The December 2022 security update for Galaxy Note 20 users is currently rolling out in the US and especially for the carrier-locked customers of Comcast’s network. Users can identify the latest update via the One UI build version mentioned below.

  • Galaxy Note 20 — N980USQS3GVKA/N981USQS3GVKA
  • Galaxy Note 20 Ultra — N988USQS3GVKA/N986USQS3GVKA

On the other side, the users of Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be able to determine the update through firmware version F711BXXS3DVKB in Malaysia, however, it will expand to more users in the upcoming days.

December 2022 update aims to enhance the reliability of your smartphones and further bring fixes for several exploits and vulnerabilities including e 5 critical, 60 high, and 2 moderate levels of CVEs from Google and 13 SVEs from Samsung’s One UI software.

If you are operating any of these devices then you must have received the notification, in case you haven’t received it yet then you can check for it manually through Settings >> Software update >> Check for update>> Download and Install.
