Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 getting April 2022 security update in the US

It has been more than a few weeks since Samsung began announcing the April 2022 security patch update for its devices. Several Galaxy phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 2, have received updates in many parts of the world.

In a recent development, Samsung started pushing the April 2022 Android security patch update for the US Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone owners. This update mainly improves the security and reliability of the system and protects it from errors and viruses.

In addition, Samsung April 2022 security patch fixed a total of 88 vulnerabilities and applications by Samsung and Google to improve the phone performance. However, the support page lists 27 high and 18 medium levels of CVEs solutions.

Notably, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 April 2022 update is released for the US unlocked models. While it’s expected that the company won’t take much time to spread the update to more users in different countries.
