Samsung Galaxy A12 users are now getting the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update from Verizon in the US. The new update brings you many new features, enhancements, and customization options.

Furthermore, the July 2022 Android security patch is installed to bolster the security and stability of the system. This update can be identified by the One UI build version a125usqu3cvh1 which can be downloaded by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Android 12, based on One UI 4.1, is a much better upgrade than Android 11. It provides users with a more fluid and connected experience on their devices. It brings various camera features inspired by the Galaxy S22 to further enhance your photography experience.

This update also includes the installation of Grammarly for Samsung Keyboard to prevent any typing mistakes, as well as a live sharing feature for Google Duo to let customers share their screens during video calls. The enhanced Quick Share function will also allow you to edit and send pictures more easily.

In addition to adding emojis to calendar entries and taking quick notes on Samsung Notes, you can also browse Samsung Internet or Samsung Gallery. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy A12 One UI 4.1 update also installs new editing tools, Object Eraser and Shadow Eraser in the Gallery app.

One UI 5.0 coming?

However, the Samsung Galaxy A12 smartphones are not eligible for the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 upgrade. Android 12 is the last major Switch for devices and will now only receive security patch updates.
