Launched in November 2020, the Samsung Galaxy A12 is a famous budget smartphone that came with Android 10 OS out of the box. The device later received the One UI 3.1 update based on Android 11 and now the control firm has unveiled One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 for the same.

According to the information, the update holds the One UI build version A125FXXU2BVB3. It’s testing for Indian users as the CSC code of this release is INS which belongs to the Indian unit. However, it is not necessary that the update should be released in India first.

While it’s been a long when Samsung started to deliver the Android 12 update to its devices, it will be the first Android 12 update for the Galaxy A12, which means skipping One UI 4.0, it’s directly taking a jump to One UI 4.1.

Also, this will be the last major Android OS for the devices, according to Samsung’s software update policy. After this, the A12 will only be eligible for security patch updates for 2 years.
