According to new information, the Galaxy A04 smartphone has recently appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification database. This is another small step taken by the Korean company before launching any smartphone.

Looking at the site we find the Galaxy A04 is been listed with model number SM-A045F/DS. It reveals that the device runs on Android 12 OS, probably on top of Samsung’s One UI 4.1.1 custom software system.

Further, the Samsung Galaxy A04 Wi-Fi Alliance listing reveals that the device supports dual-band Wi-Fi – 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The Wi-Fi connectivity options will include Wi-Fi ac/n/a/b/g. Apart from these, the site does not reveal any important information about the phone.

Earlier, the Galaxy A04s was certified by the Geekbench database, which reveals that the device will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 850 processor. It is an octa-core chipset that is built on an 8nm fabrication process and is paired with ARM Mali-G52 MP1 GPU as well. We can expect the same from Galaxy A04 as well.

We have also seen the renders of the Galaxy A04s, which show some tweaks in the design. According to the renders, the device has an Infinity-V display with narrow bezels on three sides and a thick chin.

It has a unibody design, which means that rather than a metal frame separating the display and rear panel, the back cover is wrapped around its edges. Further, the rear side has three cameras and each has its own cutout, similar to this year’s flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra.
