Samsung is expanding the January 2023 security patch update for more users of Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 202 Ultra. The update was initially rolled out in the United State and it’s now making its way to American countries.

Going by the information, the January 2023 Android security patch update comes with a One UI build version N981FXXS5GWA7 and N986FXXS5GWA7 for Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra respectively.

Moving on, the latest update aims to focus on the more reliable performance of your Galaxy smartphone by fixing some common bugs and issues. It also improves the security and stability of your device for more seamless performance.

The latest update also resolves over 70 vulnerabilities and exploits of your system including 52 SVEs and 20 CVEs from Google and Samsung. It also contains some issues concerning NFC, Secure Folder, and Samsung Knox.

To be mentioned, the January 2023 update is currently rolling out in Peru, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guatemala. However, the company will expand the patch to more users in the coming days.
