Samsung Art Project lets South Korean Galaxy Book users decorate with AI artwork

On July 25, Samsung started the Galaxy Book AI Art Project. The project aims to give users a chance to decorate their Galaxy laptops with their favorite artwork that suits their personalities and taste.

This Samsung AI Art Project for Galaxy Books is powered by the AI artist Kakao Brain’s colossal text-based image creation AI model “Karlo.” Karlo is an AI artist who is gaining popularity recently because he can apply different painting styles based on big data.

With the collaboration with Kahlo, who can create infinite images through learning, Samsung is expecting to attract great interest from the MZ generation, who value and express their own tastes.

If you are interested in decorating your Galaxy Book with AI artwork, you can participate in the program through Samsung.com. You can freely input any word in the order of place, action, and object, and also choose the desired painting style, for example, pop art or illustration.

Karlo will create an artwork titled “My Own AI Artwork” that can be downloaded and kept privately, and it can also be made as a skin attached to the top of the case of the Galaxy Book 2 series product through a custom studio on the official website.

Not only this, but Samsung has also prepared an event to provide you with more diverse benefits. If you upload ‘My own AI artwork’ or a skin created through it to your SNS by August 31st, you will receive the Galaxy Book 2 series, custom skins, etc. by lottery.

For customers who have already purchased the Galaxy Book 2 series or for new customers, 10000 people on a first-come, first-served basis will be given the opportunity to purchase the Book 2 series custom skins created by an AI artist at KRW 4900.

Besides online, you can also participate in the Galaxy Book Art Project offline. At Samsung Digital Plaza Hongde Main Branch Custom Studio, you can create your own book products using AI Art Works.
