More than 10 million designers and producers around the globe are dependent on the Pantone certification to be awarded for Pantone Matching System (PMS) and Pantone SkinTone colors. Which actually helps them to define, communicate and control the color realization.

Additionally, the Pantone validation logo signifies and defines the product, such as Samsung HDR TV or Display, to meet the testing and calibration requirements for reflecting real-world Pantone colors and skin tones at a high level of color fidelity.

This process is a benchmark that is created by color scientists and technicians that are working there for decades. It uses a stringent and patent-pending testing process that engulfs advanced X-Rite and color management tech solely designed by Pantone.

What did Pantone find?

During the measurement and testing, they found that Samsung‘s Quantum Dot technology provides a full range of colors even at peak brightness. The benchmarking process is extremely meticulous.

Samsung‘s HDR and Quantum Dot technology and related capabilities enable these modern-day televisions to achieve and maintain color fidelity and to become Pantone SkinTone Validated.
