Samsung’s latest mid-range Galaxy A33 5G smartphone offers a next-generation network. With 5G connectivity, you can boot up your working time and experience the next level of functioning, from super-smooth gaming and streaming to ultra-fast sharing and downloading.

On pointing as per the title, let’s start with how to root the Samsung Galaxy A33 smartphone but before rooting there is an essential thing to accomplish is to bootloader of the Samsung Galaxy A33, so let’s start:

Here’s how to unlock the Bootloader of the Galaxy A33:

  • Make sure to take back up your data, as the bootloader will erase all your data
  • Now, open Settings on your phone, then go to ‘about phone’, then software information.
  •  Look for Build Number and Tap 7-8 times to enable developer options. It will show ‘You are now a developer
  • Now back to the main setting and go to Additional Settings, then Developer options.
  • Now enable OEM unlocking in Developer options.
  • After enabling OEM to unlock and USB debugging, turn off the device. Hold down Volume + Volume Low and hold down both buttons to connect the phone to your PC.
  • Release both buttons when the Galaxy A33 shows the download mode. If you press and hold the volume up button here, the boot loader screen will be displayed on the Galaxy A33.
  • Press the volume up button to unlock the Samsung Galaxy A33 boot loader. Erase all data. Restart your phone.

After the bootloader process:

Root your Samsung A33 5G with Magisk

  • Unzip the downloaded Galaxy A33 firmware to your computer and check the AP file (the one starting with AP). Now extract the boot image (lz4) from the AP file.
  • Convert lz4 files to tar format using 7 zip.
  • Copy the boot tar file to your phone.
  • Install the Magisk app on your phone.
  • Open Magisk on your phone and click Install.
  • Select ‘Select and Patch a File’ on the next screen.
  • Browse and select the boot tar file and wait for the patching process. It can take a few seconds to patch the file and the output will be saved in the download folder as magisk_patched.tar.
  • Copy the patched tar file to your PC. Boot your Galaxy A33 into download mode.
  • Open the Odin Flash Tool on your PC. On the right side of the tool, load the magisk Patched file in AP. Make sure to uncheck Auto Reboot in the Options tab.
  • After completing all previous steps, click the Start button (assuming your phone is connected to your PC). The patched Magisk file will start flashing on your phone.
  • When done, a pass message will be displayed and the device will reboot. If your device is stuck in the boot loop, do a factory reset.
  • After rebooting, turn on the internet connection on your phone. If you don’t have the Magisk app on your phone, install it. Open the app and follow the steps displayed in the dialog box.

Once done, you can check for root access through any third-party root checker app.
