Before proceeding further, it is important to mention that GoodLock has been unplugged from One UI 5.0 beta, which is the reason behind the home screen crashing issue.

To fix One UI Home crashing, or force a closing issue on One UI 5.0 beta, go to System Settings > Applications. Now, click on the sort icon on the right side of the app list and select One UI Home app.

Once done, open the Storage option of One UI Home and clear the app data and cache. Similarly, clear the cache of the Samsung Experience Service app and System UI, if it exists as well as clear the cache data via Recovery Mode.

In case the issue still remains unresolved then you need to proceed with a hard reset which will erase everything stored in your phone’s memory including apps, games, and file manager data. In the meantime, you can also look forward to the next One UI 5 beta build, which should include solutions to such problems.
