Using internet banking has become more convenient instead of carrying cash, credit card, or debit cards to pay bills, recharge, or anything else. Samsung has its own application to let users pay online called Samsung Pay, which has recently merged with Samsung Pass and became Samsung Wallet.

Samsung Pay is a self-owned application of Samsung which is used to work on all Galaxy as well as non-Galaxy phones, even the Galaxy Watch 4 is compatible with this application.

According to new information, in recent times many non-Samsung smartphone users have started complaining that the app has stopped working on their phones.

Going by the reports on Reddit and Samsung community, users who are trying to log into their Samsung Pay accounts on non-Samsung phones are accommodated with an error message saying that their ID is not valid.

The report shows that, when the users talked to Samsung customers, they said that Samsung Pay will not work on non-Samsung smartphones. However, this shouldn’t be the case and this answer might be a mistake.

If the company had to ban Samsung Pay from non-Galaxy phones, they would have announced it months in advance so that users would not have to face any problems.

As we know Samsung Pay app is being used by many Android customers, some have even purchased the Galaxy Watch 4 just to make payments through their wrists. Hopefully, this is a bug that will be fixed in a few days with a new update.
