Google Android 13 Beta 3.1 offer more stability to Pixel users

Google has recently released the Android 13 Beta 3 for eligible Pixel smartphones with the Platform Stability mark. However, it looks like the build was full of bugs and issues that needed an urgent fix as Google just seeded the Android 13 Beta 3.1 update.

As per the information, the Android 13 Beta 3.1 update comes with a package size of just 6.25MB, while the version number is TPB3.220513.017.B1. The changelog mentions that the “problem that the Android Beta feedback app cannot be used in some cases” is fixed.

Similar to Samsung’s One UI, releasing a beta version is all about testing it and getting feedback for Google, therefore, it’s worth pushing out a small release just to fix it. Furthermore, the known issues listed in the Android 13’s Beta 3 release still apply to Beta 3.1.

Google has earlier rolled out the Android 13 Beta 3 with Platform Stability, which means the API has been specified and App developers can adapt to this version. This also suggests that we are not too away from the official/public release of the Android 13 operating system.

Devices that are getting Android 13 Beta 3.1:

  • Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
  • Pixel 5 and 5a
  • Pixel 4 and 4 XL
  • Pixel 4a and 4a (5G)
