Two years old Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones now getting support for TWRP. This new capability for these old flagship Samsung devices will give an extra option of recovery methods and features to load third-party custom ROMs.
TWRP is an open-source software custom recovery for Android-based devices. It replaces the default recovery environment that came with your device so you can root your phone via flash custom ROMs and kernels, create full backups, and others.
Recently, all the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 phones have received the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 software system which brought many new features, enhancements, and customization options for the devices.
Also, the devices are eligible for the upcoming Android 13-based One UI 5 update that will further enhance the device’s functionality and will make them the competition for new generation Samsung phones.
